GPSW alum Raleigh McElvery, ’17, and Conor Gearin, ’16, are back with a brand new season of BioGenesis, a podcast produced by the MIT Department of Biology and the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research that profiles MIT biology graduate students and their work. Season 2 kicks off with “Converging Paths,” an interview with Sophia Xu whose research in Jing-Ke Weng’s lab brings together modern science and ancient Eastern herbal remedies to investigate how molecules from natural products interact with the human body—and maybe even find a cure for hangovers along the way.
