Congratulations once again to Josh Sokol, ’15! Josh was named one of nine 2021 Alicia Patterson Foundation Fellows. The award supports journalistic work that benefits the public. Josh’s year-long project, “Who Owns the Skies?,” will focus on the industrialization of space and how it’s transforming the night sky. Each year, the fellowship selects one awardee to honor Josephine Patterson Albright, a Chicago crime reporter and major benefactor of the Alicia Patterson Foundation. Josh will be this year’s Josephine Patterson Albright Fellow. “I hope to do her justice,” he wrote. We look forward to seeing Josh’s work.
