Congratulations to Kelso Harper, a member of our incoming 2020-21 class, for winning one of five CASW Taylor-Blakeslee graduate fellowships. Designed to support young journalists pursuing graduate training in science writing, the award includes $5,000 in tuition support.

“Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, science writing is more acutely critical than ever before,” Kelso told CASW. “The vital role communication plays in this global crisis only reinforces the final reason why I want to be a science writer: it makes an impact.”
