GPSW Professor of the Practice Marcia Bartusiak is the winner of the 2019 Novim Science Awareness Award. The award recognizes excellence in communicating complex science in ways that engage and increase awareness among the general public. Professor Bartusiak is the author of seven books, including Dispatches from Planet 3, Black Hole, and The Day We Found the Universe, which received the History of Science Society’s 2010 Davis Prize for best history of science book for the public.
