Rachel Becker and the rest of The Verge Science Video Team have won the 2019 Webby Award for Science & Education for a piece that highlights why crabbers are fighting Big Oil over toxic algae. The video, titled Who’s to Blame for the Neurotoxin That’s Poisoning the Pacific?, follows a Pacific coast fishing organization that’s suing 30 fossil fuel companies over their contributions to climate change.
