Catherine Caruso

General sciences

Catherine Caruso is a science writer at Harvard Medical School. Previously, she was a staff reporter at the journal <i>Cancer Discovery</i> and a freelance science writer for publications including STATScientific American and MIT Technology Review. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wellesley College, and a master’s degree in zoology from the University of New Hampshire, where my unofficial title was fish wrangler/ plumber/ biology teacher/ molecular biologist. In her free time she enjoys climbing every mountain, fording every stream, and playing soccer as much as possible. Her work can be found at
