Christina Couch is a freelance journalist and lecturer in the MIT Graduate Program in Science Writing. She was a Fall 2020 Education Writers Association Reporting Fellow, where she covered federal, state, and private efforts to expand science education within US prisons and the scarce pathways into the sciences available to formerly incarcerated individuals.
