Greta Friar is Science Communications Officer at the Whitehead Institute and a freelance science writer, focusing predominantly on medicine and biomedical research. Her work has appeared in Harvard Medicine Magazine, MIT Technology Review, and NOVA Next, among other publications. Before receiving her MS in Science Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Greta got a B.A. in History and Science at Harvard University and spent three years as a research associate at Harvard Business School.
